Liaoning Port Group's Dalian Automobile Terminal handles foreign trade commodity vehicles for export and international transshipment. In 2021 it began handling Japanese vehicles in transit to Central Asia by sea and land, and it has resumed transshipment of Korean vehicles bound for North America, a trade it last handled in 2006.
