Where to check the duty rate
Six digits is the internationally shared part. Every destination extends it with its own digits, and that extension is where the rate is set. Copy a code above, then open the schedule you are filing into.

No duty rates are shown here. Rates depend on the origin and destination pair and change with trade measures, so the only correct rate is the one in your destination's own schedule.

What the six digits give you, and what they do not
The first six digits are set by the World Customs Organization and are the same in every member country. That is what this lookup returns. It is enough to talk to a carrier, pre-classify a booking, or check whether two shipments are the same commodity.
It is not enough to file. Every country extends the six digits with its own detail, and that extension is where the duty rate is decided. The lookup shows what drives those extra digits for each heading, whether that is engine displacement, gross vehicle weight, or propulsion type, so you know what specification to confirm before the declaration goes in.
One distinction catches RoRo shipments repeatedly: not everything that drives onto a vessel is a vehicle for tariff purposes. Excavators, forklifts, harvesters, and similar plant sit in chapter 84 as machinery, not chapter 87, even when they roll aboard under their own power. Classifying a wheeled excavator as a vehicle is a reclassification waiting to happen.
