How It Fits Together
One record, every module, no re-entry
The record is created once
A booking arrives by manufacturer EDI, through the customer portal, or from your own team. Whichever way it lands, it becomes a single shipment record with the cargo identified at VIN level.
Every module works on that record
Stowage planning reads the cargo dimensions. Customs reads the commodity and consignee. Yard management reads the units. Nothing gets copied between systems, so nothing drifts out of sync.
Operations events write back to it
A gate scan, a damage photo, a discharge confirmation: each one updates the same record and triggers whatever depends on it, from a customer notification to a billable charge.
Billing and reporting read the result
Invoices are built from what actually happened rather than from a separate spreadsheet, and every dashboard reports on the same underlying data.
Where To Start
You do not have to adopt all of it at once
Booking and documentation
Start here if quotes, bookings, and Bills of Lading are still being assembled by hand across email and Word templates. It takes out more re-typing per day than anything else.
Yard management
For terminals and processing centres, the pain is usually locating units, proving dwell time, and capturing the charges that go with each move. This is where that stops.
Finance and billing
When the operation itself runs acceptably but revenue leaks: ancillary charges never billed, commissions untracked, invoices raised late. Start at the money instead.
