Port of East Port Said: RoRo and Vehicle Terminals

The Suez Canal Automotive Terminal (SCAT) at East Port Said began operating on 1 July 2025 as Egypt's first dedicated automotive logistics terminal, built by Toyota Tsusho with Africa Global Logistics and NYK Line. Its wharf can berth two large car carriers at once, and the yard is being developed in stages to hold up to 10,000 vehicles. The terminal sits at the Mediterranean entrance of the Suez Canal and is set up for imports, exports and transshipment. The port authority lists the RoRo terminal at 600 m of quay and 212,000 m².
