AMPORTS runs a RoRo terminal at Freeport, Texas, for new cars, privately owned vehicles, high-and-heavy and breakbulk cargo. It has two berths that can take three RoRo vessels at a time, a draft of 46 ft (14 m) or more, and more than 81 acres of yard with a dynamic capacity of about 150,000 vehicles. The terminal has a dedicated high-and-heavy rail ramp and is protected by a seawall and levee system.
