Vehicle handling in Hamburg is split between two terminals. Unikai runs the RoRo facility at O'Swaldkai, where an 837 m quay offers two RoRo berths and a mobile stern ramp for cars, trucks, and construction and farm machinery. BLG Logistics runs a vehicle terminal on the Kattwyk peninsula on the Elbe, with a total area of 324,000 m², storage for 10,000 vehicles, its own RoRo ramp and a 24,000 m² technical centre.
