Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP) runs the car terminal in Frihamnen, the Freeport, in Malmö, a hub for importing and handling new cars in the Baltic Sea region with trimodal connections to the Scandinavian rail network. The terminal area is approximately 800,000 m², with three RoRo ramps, a water depth of 9 to 10 m and pre-delivery inspection facilities. CMP states that its Malmö terminals accommodate up to 40,000 cars.
