Piraeus Port Authority S.A. (PPA) runs the port's Ro-Ro terminals, which load, unload and store new vehicles and also handle heavy machinery, trucks, trailers and general cargo. More than 260,000 vehicles a year pass through them, and transit cars can be forwarded by rail. The G2 terminal in Keratsini-Drapetsona covers 145,000 m2 with 1,167 m of quay, a draft of 10 to 11 m and storage for 6,700 vehicles.
