MultiCar, part of Grupo Multiterminais, has operated the vehicle terminal at the Port of Rio de Janeiro, next to the MultiRio container terminal, since winning its concession in 1998. The RO-RO terminal covers 110,000 m² with a five-storey 54,000 m² garage, capacity for 10,000 vehicles and 326,000 vehicles a year, and 2 berths of 360 metres with 12.5 metres depth. It offers soft PDI for imported vehicles.
