Port of Walvis Bay: RoRo and Vehicle Terminals
Namport discharges vehicles from roll-on/roll-off vessels at the Port of Walvis Bay, Namibia's largest commercial port. Space freed at the old container terminal when the new container terminal opened in August 2019 is used as a multipurpose terminal, where vehicles are also parked. In 2020 Namport reported 2,427 vehicles offloaded from ro-ro vessels since the start of that year.
