Q3 2026 Release: Land Transport Module, Carrier Tendering Portal, and Pricing Rules

The Q3 2026 release adds a Land Transport module with carrier tendering, award and dispatch, deeper pricing rules, and Shippeo milestone messaging.

The Q3 2026 Release opens a new mode. The Land Transport module covers moving vehicles by road with subcontracted carriers, from the customer's VIN list to the carrier's invoice. Around it sits a carrier tendering portal: price requests, award, dispatch, carrier self-registration and a driver upload page that works on a phone. Pricing rules get spot rates, custom port groups and payment conditions, and Shippeo now receives vessel milestones from the platform.

Land Transport Module

Land transport gets its own tab, with transport instructions, orders, carriers, drivers and addresses in one place.

  • Bulk Import of Instructions: A manager pastes the customer's Excel list into a grid with a saved column mapping, and each line becomes a transport instruction waiting to be grouped into a truckload.
  • Carriers and Drivers: Dedicated Carriers and Drivers lists, with their own add and edit forms, replace the general party form for road partners. Carriers can be grouped into named sets, for example by region, and filtered by group.
  • Orders Built for Planning: A Land order can be saved before a carrier is known, carry several collection and delivery routes, and hold its own charges and attachments, with named purposes such as CMR and damage report.
  • Collection and Delivery Dates: Instructions record the customer's preferred collection and delivery dates. A collection that is past due turns red on the instruction and order lists, and the lists can be filtered to late collections only.
  • Contract and Configuration: A carriage contract document can be generated from the transport order. Per-company settings decide which inspection template the driver's damage report uses and whether a driver name is required.

Carrier Tendering, Award, and Self-Service

The office picks the carriers for an order, sets a response deadline and sends each one a price request.

  • Price Request Page: Each carrier opens its own secure link, sees the load on one screen and sends a price or declines. The request carries a link to the terms of carriage.
  • Award and Re-Tender: The office sees the offers that came back and awards one. Awarding assigns the carrier to the order and records the agreed cost as a purchase charge. Un-awarding withdraws the order from that carrier so it can be awarded again or re-tendered.
  • Dispatch on Award: The winning carrier is emailed the transport order document automatically. The wording of the invitation, dispatch and withdrawal emails comes from templates the office maintains.
  • Carrier Self-Registration: A carrier fills in a branded registration page with its company details, documents, the countries it collects from and acceptance of the terms. The office reviews it and approves it as a carrier.
  • Driver Upload and Damage at Collection: From a forwarded link on a phone, the driver uploads the CMR, photos and the carrier's invoice, enters the truck plate and driver name, and records damages found at collection as an ordinary inspection on the vehicle.
  • Invoice and Margin: The customer sales invoice is raised from the Land order, with tax applied per the configured rules, and a margin report shows sales, cost and volume per manager and period.

Damage and Inspection

  • Contract Thresholds per OEM: Battery state-of-charge ranges and damage-ratio limits can be configured per OEM, so the agreed values live in the system rather than in someone's head.
  • Scheduled Damage Reports: Damage reports can be emailed on a schedule to a recipient list set per yard.
  • Damaged Units at a Glance: The Inventory and Inspection lists mark damaged units and filter on them. The desktop inspection form shows the vehicle diagram beside the damages grid, and the consolidated damage report covers the full chain of inspections.
  • Activity Housekeeping: Activities can be cancelled with a recorded reason, and stand-alone activities that have not started can be deleted, both behind permissions.
  • Inspections by Arrival: The Inspection list filters by, and exports, the transport each unit arrived on.

Pricing Rules and Billing

  • Spot and Regular Pricing: Quotations and bookings can be marked as spot, and charging rules can be scoped to spot or regular business. Spot rates appear in the effective rate export with their own filter.
  • Custom Port Groups: Named groups of ports can be used as port of loading and port of discharge conditions on pricing rules.
  • More Rule Conditions: Pricing rules can match on payment mode, collector and quotation source.
  • One View per Job: Activity and inspection charging rules sit in unified sales and cost lists, and storage and activity billing are combined into a single Yard Billing list. Invoices carry the yard they were generated for, and yard-service invoices export to NetSuite.
  • Insurance Declaration Report: Per-unit insured values for a date range, produced directly rather than through the invoice.
  • Exchange Rates: NetSuite exchange rates can be imported per subsidiary, and a Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) rate is stored only where it differs from the ECB reference rate.

Integrations and Milestones

  • Shippeo Milestones: Vessel milestones go to Shippeo as ANSI X12 315 messages over SFTP. Actual departure, arrival and discharge are sent automatically, estimated departure and arrival are sent automatically or by hand, and transshipment cargo is supported.
  • Ford: The Ford GLADS connection sends the vehicle discharge at the port of discharge event, and transport events are sent for units that have no manufacturer booking.
  • Grimaldi: When Grimaldi splits a booking, the platform splits it too. Missing Grimaldi voyages are queued automatically, carrier errors are kept and flagged on the booking and unit lists, and a comparison view shows where a locked booking differs from Grimaldi's copy.
  • Customs Messages: Import declarations sent to Descartes through IDMS now carry the full field set, and the Senegal manifest export adds the CUSCAR (EDIFACT) format.
  • Anji Damage Reports: The Anji yard integration now carries inspection damage reports alongside the inspection results.
  • Unit Export API: A unit export endpoint filters by created, delivered and cleared dates.

Yard, Scanner, and Booking Workflow

  • Your Own Columns: Each user can choose and arrange the columns on the Booking Units and Inventory lists, and on the transport instruction list.
  • Faster Scanning: The scanner can create a unit and check it in on the spot, find a vehicle from the last digits of its VIN without choosing a make, and match a factory label with an embedded VIN at check-out.
  • Fewer Duplicates: Check-in is refused when the same chassis is already in stock at another yard of the same owner.
  • Operational Email Alerts: Operators and subscribers can be emailed when the yard team starts an arrival, starts a load or completes one on the scanner.
  • Booking Documents: Booking confirmations print in the client's language from per-language templates. Selected bills of lading or loading-manifest rows can be sent to their own clients without re-sending the whole voyage, and shipping labels print for many units at once, in PDF or Word.
  • Booking Rules: A booking field rule can set who is responsible for customs clearance, and a validation rule refuses a transit with no destination or country.

Closing

Q3 2026 takes the platform onto the road. The Land Transport module covers the loads, the carriers price and register themselves, and the office awards, dispatches and invoices without leaving the system. On the ocean and yard side, pricing rules take more conditions and vessel milestones reach Shippeo without manual work.
