For any shipment, talk to GKL and you will be glad you did. Their team processes dock receipts in minutes, issues telex and PADs on time, and is always easy to reach. Running everything on one system has made that level of service repeatable across every booking.
A US NVOCC built for RoRo and container exports
Global Kings Logistics is a non-vessel operating common carrier specializing in deep-sea Roll-On Roll-Off and container services to West Africa and Middle East Africa. Since 2017, GKL has shipped cars, auto parts, vans, SUVs, trucks, trailers, motorcycles, general cargo, and household goods out of the United States, with container warehouses in Maryland, Texas, Illinois, and Georgia and a partner network of carriers and domestic transporters covering door-to-port and auction-to-port flows.
That mix of cargo, lanes, and yards is exactly the kind of operation generic forwarder software struggles with. GKL needed a single platform that could quote, book, invoice, and keep customers informed across every shipment, without spreadsheets bridging the gaps.
Quotations and CRM that match how brokers actually sell
Quotations are the front door of a RoRo/container NVOCC business. GKL runs its sales pipeline and rate quoting on the Logisoft CRM, with rate cards, schedules, and destination logic shared by every agent. Brokers send out consistent quotes in minutes, follow up from one inbox, and convert a winning quote directly into a booking, without re-keying any data.
Bookings, dock receipts, telex and PADs in one workflow
The operational backbone is the Logisoft transport management system. Each booking carries the cargo details, schedule, container or RoRo allocation, destination, and consignee through to dock receipt, telex release, and proof of arrival documents. The result is what customers describe in their own words: dock receipts in minutes, telex and PADs issued on time, and a team that always has the answer ready when a customer calls about a unit.
AES filings from the booking, not a separate portal
Every export out of the United States requires Electronic Export Information filed through the Automated Export System. Global Kings Logistics files AES directly from the Logisoft booking record. The cargo, consignee, Schedule B classification, and carrier details are already on the shipment, so the filing is generated from the same data the operations team is already working on. The Internal Transaction Number returned by AES is captured back on the booking and the bill of lading, so customs documentation and the export record stay consistent without re-keying anything into a separate filing portal.
Invoicing, receivables, and cash visibility
Every shipment flows into the Logisoft finance module: invoices, statements, receivable payments, and aging are produced from the same record that operations works on. The finance team closes the loop on a booking the same day the unit ships, instead of reconciling logs at month-end, and management has live cash visibility instead of a quarterly export.
A website built to convert shippers
We designed and developed the GKL website with one goal: turn visitors into quote requests. The site explains GKL's RoRo and container services, shows schedules and destinations across West and Middle East Africa, and routes every visitor toward a tracking lookup or a quote request that lands directly in the CRM.

A mobile app for shippers on the move
Customers do not sit at a desk. We built the Global Kings Logistics mobile app for iOS and Android so shippers can track units, check schedules, request quotes, and message GKL from a phone. The app is connected to the same Logisoft backend that operations uses, so a status change in the office is visible to the customer immediately, with no separate data sync to maintain.

SEO that puts GKL in front of car exporters
The web design work was paired with on-page and technical SEO so GKL ranks for the searches that matter: shipping cars from the US to Nigeria, Ghana, and the rest of West Africa, container consolidation out of Maryland and Texas, RoRo schedules to specific African ports. Structured metadata, fast page loads, and content built around real shipper intent keep new inquiries flowing into the same CRM that operations and finance already run on.
One platform, end to end
What ties everything together is that the website, the mobile app, the quotation, the booking, the dock receipt, the invoice, and the customer portal all live on the same Logisoft platform. There is no data hand-off between sales and operations, between operations and finance, or between the back office and the customer. That is what lets GKL operate with the speed and personal response that its clients describe, while still scaling to 55,000+ tons and 1,400+ inquiries a year across 100 countries.
