Lyttelton Port Company handles roll-on/roll-off car vessels at Cashin Quay 1, a 234m long wharf with a maximum vessel draught of 12.1m that also serves coal exports. The wharf has a heavy duty concrete deck with an area suitable for vessel quarter ramps. No. 7 Wharf is also suitable for car vessels, with a heavy duty section of wharf that can take roll-on/roll-off vessel quarter ramps.
