Port Newark Auto Terminal, run by Ports America, handles new vehicle imports and new or used vehicle exports across common-user berths 13, 17, 18, 23 and 25 of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Vehicle processing is done by FAPS Inc. in more than 750,000 sq ft of pre-delivery centres, with a 48-railcar auto rail facility. Berths 17 and 23 can also take project and heavy-lift cargo.
