Port of Taicang: RoRo and Vehicle Terminals
Haitong (Taicang) Automobile Ro-Ro Terminal, on the lower Yangtze River at Taicang Port, is a public automobile RoRo terminal set up jointly by Shanghai Haitong International and Taicang Port, and it opened for operation in December 2024. It has a 708 m quay with two 70,000 GT automobile RoRo berths, plus a 3,000-tonne RoRo berth on a 150 m inner berth, and a design throughput of 1.3 million vehicles a year. The site covers 960,000 square metres and can park 32,000 vehicles at once.
