Book Grimaldi once, not twice
If you move cars with Grimaldi or ACL, you probably type every booking into your own system and then again into theirs. Logisoft talks to the line directly, so the booking you make is the booking they receive.

Your booking, today and after
Six steps become three
Nothing here is a software project. It is the same booking you make now, with the steps that only ever existed because two systems could not speak to each other taken out of it.
Today, two systems
6 steps
- 1Enter the booking in your own system
- 2Type the same booking into the carrier portal
- 3Copy the line's booking number back to your file
- 4Email the agent to ask where the cars are
- 5Email again to ask for the draft Bill of Lading
- 6Re-key every amendment in both places
On Logisoft
3 steps
- 1Enter the booking once
- 2Status and the draft B/L arrive on it
- 3Amend it once
Type once
Enter the booking in Logisoft and Grimaldi has it. No second screen, no re-keying, no spreadsheet handed to someone else to load in for you.
No chasing
Delivered, loaded, Bill of Lading printed. Each car updates itself on your screen as the line moves it, so nobody emails an agent to ask where things stand.
Draft on demand
Pull the draft Bill of Lading from the line yourself and check it against the shipment. No email, no waiting on a reply, no hunting for the current version.
Change it once
Amend the shipment in Logisoft and the line gets the change. If they have already locked something, you are told which field and why, on the spot.
The booking you type is the booking the line receives
Route, voyage, shipper, consignee, notify party, and every car with its VIN, make and model, weight and dimensions. It goes across as you save it.

Confirmed by the line. No second entry.
Their reference and yours, together
The line's booking number lands on your shipment as soon as they accept it, so you stop keeping a list that maps one to the other.
It tells you what is missing
If Grimaldi needs something before they will take the booking, you find out when you save it, not two days later in a rejection email.
Changes go the same way
Amend a party, a description or a car, and the change goes to the line. Anything they have already frozen is named for you, field by field.

Print status
Telex release
Your instruction to the line. Originals are issued by Grimaldi.
Checking the draft stops being an email you wait on
Pull the draft from the line inside Logisoft and check it against the shipment. The original is still the line's to issue, and you tell them how you want that done.
You instruct, the line issues
Set the print status on the shipment and it goes to Grimaldi with the booking: print at origin, print at destination, telex release, sea waybill, or do not print. Issuing the originals stays with the line.
Check it before it is cut
Parties, marks, descriptions and every VIN, read against the shipment they came from. Corrections while the draft is still a draft cost nothing.
One version, not four
You are reading the draft from the line, so there is no question of whether the copy in your hand is the current one.
What arrives on your screen without you asking for it
