Software Developer (Entry Level)

Entry LevelFull TimelebanonOpening Soon

These 2 roles open in early 2027. We are collecting applications now so that we can talk to strong candidates ahead of the start date. Apply today and you will hear from us either way.

About the role

This is a graduate C# development role at Logisoft, the software platform built exclusively for RoRo and finished vehicle logistics. You would work on software that runs live vehicle operations for carriers and terminal operators: vessel operations, yard movements, inspections, damage, customs and billing, across a platform of 130+ modules.

The hard part of the job is not producing code. It is understanding why a logistics provider needs something built a particular way, and being able to tell whether what you have is correct. You will be given real work, a senior developer to learn from, and the time to build both skills properly.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver the work assigned to you, from understanding the requirement through to demonstrating that it works
  • Verify your own output before it reaches review: run it, check the data, test the boundaries
  • Write tests for the functionality you deliver
  • Learn the operation your modules serve, not only the code you are changing
  • Take part in customer sessions and demonstrations as you grow into them

Who you are

This matters more to us than your grades. We hire for it, and we can teach the rest.

  • Curious. You ask why, and you keep asking until the answer makes sense
  • Attentive to detail. Small things carry real weight in this domain: a unit, a date, a rounding rule. We would rather see careful work than fast work
  • Accountable. You own your work, whoever or whatever helped you produce it
  • Disciplined. You follow the pattern that is there, and you finish what you start
  • Proactive. You come with the question already researched, and you say something when you spot a problem rather than waiting to be asked
  • Honest about what you do not know. The fastest learners here are the ones who say so early

Requirements

  • A degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or mathematics
  • Fresh graduate, or up to 2 years of experience. Internships and personal projects count
  • A real understanding of object-oriented design: able to argue why one structure fits better than another
  • Comfortable with SQL and relational thinking
  • Hands-on experience with AI coding agents, on something real rather than a tutorial. Every developer here runs them daily, so this is a requirement rather than a bonus. We will ask you to walk us through what you built and the decisions you drove
  • Prompt and context engineering as a discipline. Precise scope, explicit constraints, done defined before the model starts, and the judgment to verify what comes back instead of trusting it
  • A genuine intent to learn C# and .NET properly
  • Fluent written and spoken English. Any additional language is a plus
  • Based in Lebanon and able to work from our Beirut office

Preferred

  • Claude Code specifically: plan mode, project rules files, subagents, MCP. It is what we use
  • Harness and loop design, or a clear appetite to learn it fast: running an agent against a build or test signal until it converges, and building the scaffolding that makes agent output reliable rather than random. Reviewing at speed is the muscle we will help you build, because when 400 lines arrive in 20 seconds your review is the bottleneck
  • Curiosity about ports, shipping or supply chain. If you know what a bill of lading is before the interview, that is a good sign

What we offer

  • International scale. Your work reaches vessels, terminals and yards across the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Very few graduate roles put you on software with that reach
  • A named mentor from day one. A senior developer responsible for your progress, reviewing your work properly rather than rubber-stamping it
  • A structured first year. A defined path through the platform rather than a desk and a backlog, so you learn the system deliberately instead of picking it up by accident
  • Real responsibility early. Entry level here does not mean a year of fixing typos
  • A specialism to build early. Most graduates spend years before they find a domain. RoRo and finished vehicle logistics is narrow, technical, and short of people who understand it properly
  • You live the operation. We take our people to the ground: into terminals and yards to watch the work happen. You will understand the challenges we are solving for our customers, and how a software decision lands in a live operation. Very few graduate roles show you that
  • Current tooling, properly resourced. A modern .NET stack, and the AI development tooling we use, paid for
  • Problems worth solving. The platform runs live port and terminal operations, on desktop and on handhelds in the yard. The constraints come from real operations rather than from us

Our stack

C# and .NET on the server, EF Core against SQL Server. WPF for the operations clients that terminal and yard teams run all shift, Blazor and web for the browser-based products and customer portals. Work items, branches, pull requests and CI live in Azure DevOps.

You do not need to arrive knowing all of it.

How to apply

Apply through the form on this page. Under "Why do you want to work at Logisoft", tell us about one project you took from unclear to delivered, and what was hard about it. If you have built something with coding agents on your own time, mention it: a messy side project where you clearly drove the tooling tells us more than a polished tutorial clone.

We read every application and reply to every one. If your application is strong we will tell you so and stay in touch as the start date approaches, and if our plans change we will write and tell you.

Our process, once these roles open, is a 30-minute conversation, a practical exercise on our own stack rather than a whiteboard puzzle, and a session with the team you would join.

Roles open early 2027. Logisoft is an equal-opportunity employer. We hire on the work you can do.
