About the role
We are hiring a QA engineer to take ownership of quality across the Logisoft platform, the software that RoRo carriers and terminal operators run their daily operations on. That means 130+ modules spanning vessel, yard, inspection, customs and billing operations, on the desktop clients terminal teams run all shift and on the handhelds used in the yard.
The work is more interesting than functional testing usually is, because the failures live in the gap between a specification and an operation. A tally clerk scans a vehicle in a port, in poor light, with no network, with a shift deadline, and the device then reconnects and has to reconcile. Finding what breaks in conditions like that, before a customer does, is the job.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute test scenarios across implementations and releases
- Build and maintain the regression suite, and keep it meaningful as the platform grows
- Run internal dry runs of customer acceptance sessions before those sessions happen
- Triage defects into the engineering backlog with reproduction steps that need no follow-up conversation
- Verify releases against the go-live checklist
- Define coverage and acceptance criteria for the areas you own

- Curious. The valuable tester is the one who asks what happens if the operator does it in the wrong order
- Persistent. You chase an intermittent failure until you can reproduce it on demand
- Proactive. You go looking for the failure before a release forces you to, and you raise risk early rather than reporting it after the fact
- Accountable. You own the quality signal, and you say plainly when something is not ready
- Precise. You write so that someone else can act without asking you a follow-up question
Requirements
- 2+ years in software quality assurance, on business or operational systems rather than consumer apps
- Experience with mobile and handheld testing, including offline behaviour
- Clear, precise defect reporting. We will test this at interview by handing you a defect and asking you to write it up
- Enough SQL to check whether the data behind a screen is correct
- Fluent written and spoken English. Any additional language is a plus
- Based in Lebanon and able to work from our Beirut office
Preferred
- Test automation experience. It is where this role is heading
- Comfort using AI agents for drafting scenarios and reproduction steps. We use them daily in engineering
- Exposure to logistics, shipping or terminal operations

Our stack
Test plans, work items, defects and CI live in Azure DevOps, which is where your scenarios, runs and triage will sit. The product is C# and .NET: WPF operations clients, Blazor for the browser-based products, SQL Server underneath, and handheld devices in the yard.
